Upon activation of the hazard and civilian protection function
In the event of an alarm, entrances are automatically unlocked, and two rows of protective metal blinds are deployed over the windows.
Occupants have a 48-hour refuge period within the protective module, which includes a toilet, water, autonomous power supply, lighting, ventilation, folding reclining berths, a TV displaying external camera feeds, coffee and tea, a snack vending machine, direct communication to the police, and Wi-Fi.
The open section of the bus stop features carefully considered ergonomics and three-sided protection from precipitation and wind.
The bus stop offers additional functionality as a contemporary location point.
- The integrated ATM offers 24/7 access to cash withdrawals in a secure and convenient location, featuring enhanced camera surveillance and a direct police call button.
- The integrated terminal allows for convenient deposits, enabling users to replenish various accounts, including transit cards, in the same location as the ATM.
- The integrated water vending machine offers a convenient solution for purchasing purified water on-site, eliminating the need to visit supermarkets.
Controlled access to the armored module is achieved through identification, with additional underground protection measures in place.
- In its normal operating mode, this protective bus stop functions as a high-comfort facility with a paid entry system to facilitate upkeep and maintenance. Entry is monitored via video surveillance cameras and granted using bank cards, pension cards, or transit passes, similar to urban transportation systems.
- Furthermore, an optional underground module can be incorporated, featuring separate entrances, ventilation, communication systems, and egress points to the exterior and the upper module.
